General information about cookies

When you access Ugolinispa.com or use one of our services, our system or that of one of our partners may set or read cookies and/or other types of identifiers about the browser and/or device you are using. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the computer of someone viewing a website in order to record certain information related to the visit as well as to create a system to recognise the user at a later date. The identifiers of the devices, on the other hand, are generated by collecting and processing certain information such as the IP address and/or the user agent (browser version, type and version of the operating system) or other characteristics of the device, again in order to link certain information back to a specific user. A website can only set a cookie on the browser if the preferences configured for the latter allow it. It is important to know that a browser can only allow a specific website to access the cookies it sets itself, and not those set by other websites: there is no risk to your privacy in this regard.

Practices related to cookies and other similar technologies
Ugolinispa.com or its partners may use cookies or other types of identifiers for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Offering access to reserved areas of the site and which require authentication in order to access them (in this case the cookies are “technical” and are used to maintain the browsing session and/or to facilitate subsequent access from the same device).
  • Tracking user preferences while using the site and/or services incorporated in it or connected to it.
  • Offering advertising and/or content relevant to visitors’ interests (third-party cookies only).
  • Producing statistical analyses (analytics) about the use of the site and/or services incorporated in it.
  • Conducting research to improve the content, products and services of Ugolinispa.com or its partners.

Ugolinispa.com does NOT use any profiling cookies directly
The only cookies generated and managed directly by Ugolinispa.com are those known as technical cookies (which are used exclusively to ensure the services offered to the public are provided correctly) and, in an extremely limited way, analytics cookies (which are used to count the number of visits to the various pages of the site and/or for other statistical purposes). We nevertheless inform users that profiling cookies could be generated by third parties on our pages (see “Cookies from other companies”).

Cookies from other companies
Within its pages,
Ugolinispa.com may incorporate third-party services that may set and use their own cookies and/or similar technologies. The use of such cookies and similar technologies by these companies is governed by the privacy policies of these companies and not by this policy, as Ugolinispa.com has nothing to do with the management of such tools and the processing of data deriving from them. Please find below a (non-exhaustive) list of some of the partner companies that may use cookies while you are browsing the Ugolinispa.com network:

Disabling cookies
You can configure your browser to accept or reject all cookies or particular types of cookies (for example third-party cookies) or you can choose to be notified whenever a cookie is set on your computer.
